Meet Dr. Michael Cosimi

Dr. Cosimi is a native of Royalton Illinois and a graduate of Zeigler-Royalton High School (1990). He received his B.A. in Physiology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1995 and his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1999. Dr. Cosimi received a Masters of Science (Research in Dentistry) and his certificate in Periodontics at St. Louis University’s Center for Advanced Dental Education. During his periodontal specialty residency he trained at the Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine Dental Implant Clinic where he received three years of advanced dental implant surgery training. Dr. Cosimi is certified by the Illinois and Missouri dental board to provide I.V. conscious sedation. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The Midwest Society of Periodontology, The American Dental Association, The Illinois Dental Association, The Missouri Dental Association, The Greater St. Louis Dental Society and The Southern Illinois Dental Society.
